Chapter 7-Defection

You could many a times feel a presence nagging at the rear of your psyche couldn’t you? Many of us term this as instinct, co-incidence, chance, luck, fate…so many names. But this psyche was not one you would chance upon every other day. Honed by one of the greatest psychics in the vicinity, co-incidence, instinct, luck, fate or whatever other rubbish meant little here. Everything did have a reason, a valid reason at that; if anything was without reason, it was just that the reason is too subtle to be noticed. But does the dismissing of the sun diminish its luminescence?

Chapter 6-Paradise Lost

“Elaina, I will call you in a minute.” The phone went dead. Alaina stared at her handset, an array of emotions coagulated in her brain. Agron had been sent on a haywire ride; ten cities to tour in three months; the man was basically living on the run. But that was not the only thing that concerned the perceptive psychic. Bunny had become Elaina again, Agron was visibly preferable to Rex; something was definitely amiss. Worry now permanently lined the youthful features giving an increased intimidating aura to the already proclaimed Vesuvius.

Chapter 5-Good morning and Good night

"Good Morning Beautiful,

Good morning, beautiful, how was your night?
Mine was wonderful with you by my side
And when I open my eyes to see your sweet face
It's a good morning, beautiful day

I couldn't see the light, I didn't know day from night
I had no reason to care
Well, since you've came along, I can face the dawn
'Cause I know, you'll be there

Chatper 4-Dawn

An hour was left for the flight to land; about half an hour left; fifteen minutes for the flight to touch ground. Alaina had been counting the clock ever since Agron had seen her off at the airport. Alaina had never dreamt even in her wildest dreams that the grouchy anarchist would actually evacuate his office for some reason other than pure academia. Now this brought a smile to the paled face; Alaina did love observing Agron; after all what was a better way to study humanity than studying humans and what rarer illustration than the dear man! Ah, she had missed the last few minutes of the flight, the announcement for the landing was already being made; well it was not like she regretted it. As soon as Alaina set the first foot on the ground of her hometown, the darkness seemed to swarm round her; “Hold my hand you've got nothing to fear now, I was lost and you've rescued me somehow-“ Agron’s songs buzzed in her ear as the grip round the petite locket tightened. He was there, he would be there; she had to succeed so he could taste success; she could not give up, could not lose this battle. Resolve doubled, the brunette walked steadily towards the outlet.

Chapter 3-Borrowed

“There is no one else I trust with this task! The news is too big to put to risk, please bunny I will hear no more arguments on this so cease the shouting match you intend to throw at me right this moment.” Agron’s face was contorted in rage. Emotions are the greatest enemy to rational mind. He had been repeating this over and over to his little peril but the psyche seemed to have gone into hibernation.
